Our Foundation Phase aims to provide each individual child with a holistic experience that sets a solid foundation, built on reading, writing and counting, with confidence and curiosity. Science, Global Perspectives and ICT (which includes computers and STEAM activities), round up our academic school day.
Our rich program is balanced with Physical Education, Art and Drama. We consider these as just as important as the academic foundations. ALL of these provide the glue which is vital to every child and their natural instinct for creative experimentation, movement and expression.
Our Foundation Phase teachers are a dedicated and passionate team, who nurture and work with our parents, weaving a bond to create our Canterbury family. Each child has a “Go-To “ senior person, continuing our ethos of family and support.
