Canterbury Preparatory began its journey in January 2016 with 8 staff members and 34 children. It became immediately obvious that Canterbury was a school that could provide something special. The country location, gardens, animals and the very favourable teacher, student ratio, must have been attractive.
The numbers have grown, the school infra-structure has grown and still the commitment towards the creation of a caring, family-like environment, where education of the highest quality will be provided, prevails.
An extensive extra-mural programme gives all the students an opportunity to experience a variety of activities which are not commonly seen. Photography, culinary skills, orienteering, stitch club are just some examples. Add to this the Cambridge curriculum which in itself provides a host of opportunities and our school is fast becoming a leader in all round education.
